Pier 6 Marina, Charlestown MA installs High freeboard Floating breakwater / Superyacht berth

SF Marina Systems USA suppled 330’ of type 400 floating breakwater configured with a higher 25” freeboard. Also suppled were two high freeboard fingers and a 160’ Type 1250 Main walkway (16’ wide )which the Large 80 ft gangway lands on allowing for lots of room for golf cart travel. The outer floating breakwater provides protection for the Mecco Sullivan timber slips on the interior and also doubles as a super yacht berth. The System is Moored in place with massive 36” Steel piles over 100 ft long. Power, water, Pump out and are all configured for vessels up to and over 300’ The Pier 6 renovation includes; Pier upgrades, pedestrian walkways, and improved seating for the Pier 6 restaurant.
